Canadian Medicare systems brings new meaning to the words “Only the Strong Survive”

How long have you been waiting for a medical procedure? Do you need a transplant? Do you feel like the line up for what you need is so long you’re likely to be in worse shape by the time it actually happens? Or maybe you don’t feel you will make it that long?

I personally feel that if people have died from long waits for an operation or some other thing that is related to Medicare. The families should be doing a lawsuit against the government for reckless behavior, failure to provide adequate healthcare is just as bad as not providing any at all (In cases worse). Someone needs to be held responsible for these actions.

We are having ongoing problems with a Nova Scotia hospital that is refusing to provide me with medically necessary care for a chronic and life threatening medical condition. In order to obtain the necessary care I'll need to need the province. The hospital is giving my family and me the run-around. I’ve told my family if I die due to negligent care tell people, tell the media. Currently, fighting the system, and getting no where. Extremely frustrating.
