How do I post an Ad?
- First create an account, just click on the "Register" tab in the upper part of the classifieds page.
- Put you information in, you will only need an email and the password has to be a minim of 6 characters
- Then you will need to login under the "login" tab, using your username which is your email and the password you specified
- Once logged in you will see create new ad and other options.
Once your account is created you are ready to post your ad(s). Please note that a picture(s) increases the chance of your ad being noticed. Also, the more relevant information in the description field the better the chances of getting a response to your ad. Please add your physical address, website URL, and email address when applicable. Please note that for spam and security reasons your ad must be approved, which can take a few hours after submission. We try to approve as soon as possible, however, as we value your business.
How many ads can I post?
As many ads as you want as long as it is on the topic of the classifieds you are posting it too.
Are ads really free? What is the catch?
Yes, specified ads (Real-Estate Listings, Camping Sites, Inns, and Bread & Breakfast ads) are totally free to you. We have premium ad spots that are sold that help pay for the maintenance of this site.
What does our site offer, and why are there no categories for services, lawyers and other related real estate services?
What this site does is list only the actual ads for physical places for sale, which can be commercial, cottage, land, residential, and time-shares as well. We also have a category for "Other Real Estate" which a Realtor can do list their profile. We do this in an effort to make the site more attractive to the prospect that is looking for a house or property to buy. We feel in the long run if we keep the site clean, and free of clutter it will be user friendly. Many similar sites allow too many unrelated ads and tend to be burdensome for someone searching for a specific item. We want to be unique in this area.
If you wish to have an ad placed on this site for other related topics such as financial services and lawyer services, we do offer a very limited amount of these (only about 7-10 ads). There is a cost to place these types of ads. Please contact us with more information on pricing and availability.
How many visitors to your site or how many hits to you get? How do you advertise the site?
Well first let me start with how do we advertise the site? We specialize is SEO (search engine optimization) in simple that is knowing how to get your hits and visitors to your website. We mostly use goggle, yahoo, msn and other search engines. We work very hard to get top listings in search engines and are always tweaking and analyzing Analytics reports. Google Analytics is a tool that we use to see how many visitors we get a day. We can also tell a lot more that helps us narrow and focus our site so that we can get maximum hits. Please remember that this is a relatively new site and traffic is expected to grow quickly and exponentially. Each month we are going to do what most websites do not do: We will be posting a screen shot of "Goggle Analytics" here so you can see how much we are growing each month in traffic. This will give you actual proof of visitor statistics. They will be added to the right side of this page at the 1st of each month, starting July 1st 2008.
