Casino to be built in Magnetic Hill Area of Moncton

I am not really elated over the location of the casino. However, this province reminds me of High School, do you remember back when we were all there and thought that the issues we had back then were going to effect us the rest of our lives. Then we get a job pay bills, and life changes for ever, and those issues are all forgotten about. Well that is what New Brunswick is like a bunch of school kids, talking about issues that in the long run the rest of the grown up world doesn’t really care about. I think it is a great idea and long over due, yes it is going to attract some negative elements, all progress does that no matter where you are. Almost all places in North America already have casinos, this is not like some new thing out there and no one has ever done it. I have heard a lot of people talk about this as negative thing and we should not have it here, and that is why I feel the need to write this. New Brunswick is a province that is still in diapers and we need to learn how to walk on our own, and with that comes a few bumps and falls, it is part of growth and progress. Yes I have heard it all, from people who get addicted to gambling to religion. Well to the gambling addict’s advocates I say this, perhaps we should close down all the bars and liquor stores as there are people addicted to alcohol, or maybe close all the fast food restaurants because someone is addicted to it. Religion, well here is a whole ball of wax, that is what keeps this province in diapers a bunch of short sited, ill willed people with no vision. What is there to say about that, they already hurt themselves more then I ever could, so I will leave them to there own demise?

Over all I think it is a good idea, progress is needed if we are ever going to do anything in this province.
