About Us
At Mini Horse Farm the spring to fall months are busy ones for your hosts Jim and Kathi , looking after cottage and Bed & Breakfast guests, tending large organic gardens, turning our berries into preserves, minihorse activities, and keeping up with our print orders. In the winter we settle down to some serious drawing and painting, and Kathi teaches beginner watercolor classes in the farm studio. Both artists have some art school training from many years ago, but are mostly self taught.
We raise Registered American Miniature Horses on 8 acres overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Many of our small guests have had their first experience with horses during their stay on the farm. With either a saddle ride or a mini horse drawn cart ride shared with Mom or Dad, each child takes away an unforgettable memory. Click on our minihorse photos to see some of our little ones.

A restful night beckons you at Minihorse Farm Bed and Breakfast… You'll be ready for a cozy bed after hiking the beautiful Fundy Trail or the miles of unspoiled beaches just minutes away. Wake up to the smell of homemade blueberry waffles and the sounds of little horse whinnies. The farm is home to a herd of Registered American Miniature Horses and several ponies . Stroll through the pasture with the mini horses where you'll take in a marvelous view of the Bay of Fundy
Our Bed & Breakfast is a relaxed and casual setting with a down-to-earth host couple. Two rooms are available at $60.00 each CAD + tax., One room has a queen size bed and the other has two twin beds. Additional children are $8.00 extra. A roll out cot for a child or extra adult can be set up in either room. Prices include a full hot, home cooked breakfast for all and complimentary tea and coffee at any time. We have become known for our memorable breakfasts whether it is Jim’s fabulous omelets or Kathi’s waffles dressed with fresh from the garden organic strawberries or raspberries.
The guest bathroom is separate from that of the hosts’ and is located on the first floor. The bedrooms are located on the second floor. Minihorse or pony rides can be arranged for guest children at $7.00 for a trip around the pastures. Children are welcome to help with barn chores, feeding and grooming. We have a common area where guests may enjoy satellite TV, children's videos, books and games, or catch up on their email.

The Village of St Martins offers so much to see and do with its famous sea caves, a charming fishing harbour with twin covered bridges, a ship building museum, public gardens, fresh water swimming, a variety of sand and pebble beaches, sea kayaking, the highest tides in the world, and the best in seafood dining.
Minihorse Farm Bed & Breakfast
The Tiny Trotter Gift Shop and Gallery, adjacent to the farmhouse, may hold just the right gift for that special "horsey" person. Unique wooden rocking horses, puzzles, barns, hobby horses and farm trucks, are made in our workshop, as well as our many varieties of homemade jams and jellies all made on the farm from our organically grown fruits and berries. For sale also are our marine themed prints and notecards made from our original watercolors and pen & inks. Original works are offered occasionally.

The quiet beach below Minihorse Farm is a photographer's and beachcomber's delight. There are sandstone cliffs and rock formations for climbing and a long crescent of sand for a leisurely stroll. One day the ocean will be calm enough for sea kayaking, another day the waves will be crashing against the rocks sending up flying spray and foam.
